Certified translation in Benin
Need to present a Beninese document abroad, or a foreign document in Benin? We translate it, certify it and, when required, take care of its legalisation too.
A certified translation is a translation accompanied by a statement from the translator (or a translator sworn before a court) confirming that it is complete and accurate. It is the format required by most embassies, immigration services, universities and courts.
Requirements differ from country to country: some ask for a translator sworn in the destination country, some accept a certified translator from the country of origin, and some require the translation itself to be legalised. Before we start, we check what the receiving organisation expects so your translation is accepted the first time.
We work from and into French, English and more than twenty other languages, with translators who specialise in legal, civil-status, education and corporate documents.
Our prices depend on the document, language, formalities and deadline, so every request gets a free, no-obligation quote.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a certified and a sworn translation?
A certified translation carries the translator's statement of accuracy. A sworn translation is produced by a translator who has taken an oath before a court and applies their official seal. We tell you which one the receiving organisation requires.
How long does a certified translation take?
A routine civil-status document usually takes a few working days. An express service is available on request. The exact turnaround is stated on your quote.
Can I send a scanned copy?
Yes. A legible scan or clear photo is enough for the quote and the translation. If the receiving organisation needs the original or a legalisation, we explain how to get it to us.
How much does a certified translation cost?
The price depends on the language pair, length, subject matter and deadline. Send us your document through the form and you will receive a free, no-obligation quote.
